At Aqualisa, we are committed to diversity and equality in all aspects of our business and are proud of the positive progress we have made as an organisation on narrowing the Gender Pay Gap since 2017.
In 2021, our company has a mean gender pay gap of 6%. The number of female employees in the upper quartile has increased to 34%, thanks to our ongoing focused career development programme, and we are working continuously to further improve this ratio. In 2021/2022, the percentage of female staff to male staff receiving a bonus differs by just 1%, with female employees now being paid an average bonus 9% higher than their male counterparts.
Aqualisa is dedicated to supporting female colleagues returning to the business from maternity leave with flexible working opportunities, and currently, 12% of our female workforce is employed on a part-time basis. Furthermore, several female members of our leadership team have progressed to more senior management positions within the last 12 months.
From a training perspective, we continue to provide in-depth programmes for all our recruiting line managers, ensuring an inclusive and balanced approach to talent acquisition and adherence to all equality guidelines in the recruitment process.
